I’m dumpin’ a buncha sketches here! Yes! I guess I’ll say a blurb on each one.
PICTURE ONE
Dipper and Mabel from Gravity Falls! I’m so absurdly addicted to this show and everybody needs to watch it. Also I think Waddles is probably a whole lot bigger than this? If that’s the case then this is actually a stuffed doll that looks exactly like him and is not a real pig. It’s amazing.
PICTURE TWO
Sketches I did of some of my Facebook friends, one of whom is a model and has a ton of fantastic photos. The other is like my best bud and she makes interesting facial expressions. I really do need to do more stuff like this, it helps more than you could imagine (unless you’re an artist, in which case you probably know exactly how helpful it is).

Just a buncha Pokemon girls and also Chie. This is really just a testament to how much I need to start drawing guys as much as girls, lest I become one of “those” artists. Even so, I love Sugimori’s designs and I think the BW girl (Hilda I guess?) is a total hottie.

Just a height comparison for two original characters, Felix and Clara. I’ve mentioned these guys before I think? Again, I need to work a whole lot on male anatomy, especially the heavily-muscular physique I was going for here. At the very least I think I have the framework down.

I know I drew Homestuck. Did you know that I read Homestuck and actually like it. That said, I’m not terribly fond of this picture. Kankri’s legs are absolutely half-assed (goofy Mario shoes? Really?) and when attempting to give Porrim a sexy and seductive pose I think I broke her spine instead. Whoops. GOOD AT DRAWING.
PICTURE SIX
This chick is supposed to be the yokai Yuki Onna (The Snow Queen) interpreted as a boss in a 2D platformer. Sort of. I’ve always been fond of the whole “thing of hair covering up a horrible monster scar face thing” idea and it seemed appropriate, given she’s got kind of a succubus thing going on. I’ll probably draw more yokai, they’re pretty damn interesting and most of them love licking things.
Okay next time I promise I’ll have a better gender ratio. I’m starting to creep myself out with all the girls I’m drawing.
This is a comic! Of sorts. It’s actually more me trying to get used to making a comic and pretty much all the shit on here was made up as I went. Will I continue this particular story? I might! I dunno. It might be handy to have the experience.
Again, scanning is shitty. I’ll figure that out tomorrow.
Here are a buncha goddamn drawings I did whilst I was on a cruise! Mostly the same characters I had before, also including an elf lady I am choosing to call Arwyn and a bunch of sketchy designs for a dude I would feel comfortable addressing as Pierre. Also the last one is a bunch of figure drawings from a photoshoot one of my old College friends did. Some super neat poses going on that have turned out to be extremely helpful!
I recently purchased some legitimate inking pens as opposed to a simple writing pen. I’m pretty much in love with them and find inking to be surprisingly enjoyable! It gives a sense of finality to the artwork, whereas pencil sketches take a lot of work to stop looking sketchy.
The other grating issue here is that my scanning process currently sucks balls. Gotta Google how to scan better.
Some drawings I did today. The girl and the fishing dude were done over with a regular ink pen, which I have literally NEVER done before. Why didn’t I ever do traditional inking before.
These three are just OCs from an idea I may or may not do anything with. The gladiator dude is named Felix and the girl is named Clara. The third dude I don’t even actually have a name for yet. Maybe he doesn’t need one?
Anyway, I think I’m gonna screw around with character design some. I might make some memes or prompts or something to get some inspiration from you guys, but for the most part I’ll probly just throw up ideas a whole bunch.
(I also managed to smudge some of the ink on the third one with my giant ham hands but you can ignore that)
